UFC 330 is set to take place in Philadelphia, with Islam Makhachev defending his welterweight title against Ian Machado Garry in the main event. The event will also feature Mackenzie Dern defending her women's strawweight title against Gillian Robertson.
Pre-fight activities included ceremonial weigh-ins, where both Makhachev and Garry successfully made weight. Tensions were evident during faceoffs, with Makhachev and Garry exchanging words. UFC President Dana White also intervened at a separate event, UFC 331, to prevent a confrontation between Arman Tsarukyan and Mauricio Ruffy.
