Man Arrested in Nord Stream Bombing Linked to Sean Penn Film

Volodymyr Zhuravlev, a key suspect in the Nord Stream pipeline explosions, has been revealed to have consulted on a Hollywood film about the incident. The movie, directed by Doug Liman and starring Sean Penn and Adrien Brody, is a fictional thriller exploring the alleged Ukrainian divers' role in the 2022 sabotage.

Zhuravlev had previously evaded German authorities on two occasions, including a reported escape from Poland in a diplomatic car and a release by a court. His connection to the film, which was recently filming in Zagreb, Croatia, adds a layer of intrigue to the ongoing investigation into the pipeline attacks that disrupted Russian energy supplies to Germany.
