Jaiswal Clashes with Fernando After Persistent Verbal Abuse in Colombo Test

A heated exchange between Indian batter Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sri Lankan bowler Asitha Fernando marred the second Test match in Colombo. According to Indian wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel, the confrontation escalated after a wicket fell, with Fernando allegedly engaging in continuous verbal abuse directed at Jaiswal.

Jurel revealed that while Jaiswal was prepared for competitive banter, he drew the line at personal insults. The situation became so intense that other players had to intervene to de-escalate the conflict between the two cricketers.
