Celtic Fans' Golf Course Protest Against Desmond Draws Scathing Criticism

A protest by Celtic supporters targeting club shareholder Dermot Desmond at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship has been met with strong condemnation. Former Rangers player and manager Ally McCoist described the actions of the fans as "embarrassing" and likened their behavior to "running away like daft wee boys."

The incident, which occurred at St Andrews, has sparked a significant backlash, with McCoist's remarks highlighting the perceived immaturity and ineffectiveness of the protest. The fallout from this event continues to be a topic of discussion within football circles, raising questions about the methods employed by fan groups to voice their grievances.
