Mark Messier Endorses Houston for NHL Expansion Team

Hockey Hall of Famer Mark Messier has expressed strong support for Houston's readiness to host an NHL expansion team. Messier, who played minor league games in Houston over 45 years ago, believes the city possesses the necessary infrastructure and fan base to sustain a professional hockey franchise.

His endorsement comes at a time when discussions about NHL expansion are ongoing, with Houston frequently mentioned as a potential candidate. Messier's perspective, drawing on his historical connection to the city's hockey scene, adds significant weight to the argument for bringing top-tier professional hockey to Houston.
