Phillips Called Up to Ireland Squad; McPake Earns Scotland Recognition

Midfielder Killian Phillips has been included in the Republic of Ireland squad for upcoming Nations League fixtures, a call-up that coincides with several high-profile withdrawals from other international teams due to injury. Notably, England's squad has seen significant changes with Cole Palmer, Declan Rice, Kobbie Mainoo, Marcus Rashford, and Tino Livramento all unavailable, leading to the inclusion of James Garner and Morgan Gibbs-White.

In other international news, Josh McPake has earned an unlikely call-up to the senior Scotland squad, a remarkable achievement considering his career trajectory just 18 months ago. Meanwhile, anticipation is building for Zinédine Zidane's first France squad announcement, which is expected to reveal the players who will begin his tenure as national team manager.
