Mbappe Scores Brace as Real Madrid Defeat Sevilla, Close Gap on Leaders

Kylian Mbappe netted two goals, including a spectacular individual effort, to lead Real Madrid to a commanding 4-1 victory over Sevilla. This win propels Madrid into third place in the La Liga standings, reducing the deficit to league leaders Barcelona to six points ahead of next weekend's highly anticipated El Clásico.

The Santiago Bernabéu crowd also voiced their displeasure towards La Liga president Javier Tebas, holding up banners and chanting in protest. Tebas had previously drawn parallels between the club's strategy to discredit referees and the propaganda methods of Nazi Germany's Joseph Goebbels. Mbappe's brace marks his 10th and 11th goals of the season, underscoring his crucial role in the team's attacking efforts.
