Musk Tapped for Trump Taskforce on Future of Warfare

Elon Musk has been appointed to co-lead a new government project focused on identifying technological capabilities for future battlefields. The initiative, dubbed Project Meridian, will be spearheaded by Pete Hegseth and aims to achieve "absolute technological dominance on the next-generation battlefield."

Musk's involvement marks his return to a government advisory role, having previously led the "department of government efficiency" (Doge). He will be joined by Palmer Luckey, CEO of defense tech company Anduril, and former Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. The 120-day project will conclude with an unclassified report of its recommendations.
