The Golden State Valkyries secured a crucial 67-62 victory over the Atlanta Dream in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals, leveling the best-of-seven series at two games apiece. The Valkyries managed to hold off a late comeback attempt from the Dream, with Gabby Williams leading the charge with 17 points. This defensive effort, particularly in limiting the impact of Angel Reese, proved to be the key factor in their win.
The series now shifts back to California for Game 5, with the Valkyries aiming to build on their momentum. Their ability to play a more complete defensive game and find a formula for success against the Dream has become a central theme as the finals head into a decisive stretch.
