Toone Recalled to Lionesses Squad for Greece World Cup Playoff

England manager Sarina Wiegman has recalled Manchester United midfielder Ella Toone to the Lionesses squad for their Women's World Cup playoff against Greece. Toone was initially omitted from the squad but earned a place back after a "really small" injury to Lucy Bronze.

Toone's recall comes after she maintained her fitness by organizing her own training routine in Spain during the international break. Her positive attitude and response to her initial omission were highlighted by Wiegman, who emphasized the importance of her contribution ahead of the crucial first leg match in Heraklion, Crete.
