Thirteenth Met Officer Sacked Following BBC Investigation into Misconduct

A thirteenth Metropolitan Police officer, PC Mason O’Connor, has been dismissed from the force following an undercover BBC investigation. The investigation, conducted by BBC's Panorama, uncovered instances of misogyny and racism within the Charing Cross police station.

PC O’Connor's dismissal stems from findings of discreditable conduct and breaches of professional behavior standards. Specifically, he was found to have made an inappropriate comment towards a female colleague. This latest dismissal highlights ongoing concerns regarding misconduct within the Metropolitan Police.
