Documentary Exposes Cruel Beagle Testing in Research Industry

A new documentary, "They Were Good Dogs," is set to expose the alleged cruel treatment of beagles used in research for pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and other products. Oscar winner Ross Kauffman, along with Sarah Sarandos and Scott Veltri, have joined the production team for the film, which is currently in post-production.

The documentary marks the directorial debut of Lily Blavin and aims to shed light on the conditions and testing faced by beagles bred and caged specifically for scientific experimentation. The film's producers are bringing their expertise to this exposé on animal welfare within the research sector.
