Disney Executive Eric Schrier Transitions to Producing Role

Eric Schrier, a long-serving executive at Disney, is stepping down from his role as President of Direct-to-Consumer International Originals, Strategic Programming, and Emerging Media. Schrier, who has been with the company for 26 years, will now embark on a new venture as a producer.

His new production company will be based within Disney Entertainment Television. This move signifies a shift in his career trajectory within the company, leveraging his extensive experience to focus on content creation. The transition was announced internally by Debra OConnell, chairman of Disney Entertainment Television.
